Born and raised in Austria, this is also where I studied massage and worked in the profession for eight years before coming to NZ. I do like to unwind and read a good book if I have the chance. Also do I like to get creative and stuck into a project from time to time. I live in the countryside with my partner and enjoy the peace nature brings. As a Remedial Massage Therapist I offer you not only beautiful treatments to unwind, but also the
knowledge to target and treat specific problems in your body. My Austrian overseas qualifications were recognized by Massage New Zealand as RMT (Remedial Massage Therapist) in 2012. Not only do I love to help people feel better, but it is the whole health topic in general that keeps me interested.
Relaxation massage calms the mind and body and reduces stress. Long strokes and gentle pressure relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation. It can improve sleep, mood, and immunity.
Remedial massage can help relieve chronic pain and correct any imbalances in your posture. If you are struggling with tight muscles caused by fibrous tissue or scar tissue a sports or remedial massage can also help break these adhesions down. Athletes can benefit with improved performance and injury prevention.
Developed by a Japanese master, it works in
correspondence with the body’s energy systems such as chacras and meridians. The main benefits are stress reduction and deep relaxation, triggering the body’s natural healing abilities. Reiki removes energy blockages, increases vitality and supports the immune system.
(CST) is a gentle, hands-on massaging technique that focuses on the misalignment in the bones and joints of the head. It uses a light touch to restore craniosacral rhythm and balance which allows the whole body to reset, relax and heal. This treatment promotes pain relief from old injuries, headaches, migraines and may help symptoms from anxiety.
Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to specific parts of the feet. It is based on the theory that your feet are connected to
certain organs and body systems. Along with improving circulation, foot massage can reduce tension, swelling, anxiety, stress, and pain. Whether you have a medical
condition or simply want to unwind and de-stress, a relaxing foot massage can be a valuable addition to your self-care routine.
If you are unsure which type of massage is right for you,
Andrea will tailor the treatment for your specific needs.
